April 30, 2009
If it ever stops being funny to take band names completely literally, I don't want to know about it.

Hey, you know your new favorite band, Phoenix? Remember how they have that album coming out May 26th? Which you preordered? Remember how that lead single, “1901,” is the song you wake up singing? Well, watch out. Here come remixes. And not just of that pop gem, but also album-opener “Lisztomania.” And News Flash, kids: these are hot. And by your favorite DJs/bands. Proceed at your own risk

First comes Immuzikation. Maybe you remember when I told you that he’s amazing. It’s still true. And now he’s made “1901” even more amazing.

Q: Who’s there for you when you’re cold and alone?

A: The Teenagers! The Teenagers!

Now they’re here for me with another rocked up remix, a la their “Kwassa” or “Womanizer” redubs. Full post on these kewl kids to follow.

Aaaannnddd, “Lisztomania,” replete with dance-floor funk. Sure to be a winner come Friday. I dare you not to dance to this beat.
